कतर के मुख्य वार्ताकार ने गाजा शांति वार्ता की ‘धीमी गति’ पर निराशा व्यक्त की

मार्च में युद्धविराम का पहला चरण समाप्त होने के बाद से इजरायल और हमास युद्धविराम के अगले चरणों के बारे में किसी समझौते पर नहीं पहुंच पाए हैं। कतर के मुख्य वार्ताकार मोहम्मद अल-खुलैफी ने गाजा में युद्ध विराम के लिए वार्ता की धीमी गति पर अपनी निराशा व्यक्त की है, जबकि पिछले महीने इस क्षेत्र में इजरायली हमले फिर से शुरू हो गए थे।

समाचार एजेंसी एएफपी को दिए साक्षात्कार में उन्होंने कहा, “हम निश्चित रूप से बातचीत की प्रक्रिया में कभी-कभी होने वाली धीमी गति से निराश होते हैं। यह एक अत्यावश्यक मामला है। यदि यह सैन्य अभियान दिन-प्रतिदिन जारी रहा तो यहां लोगों की जान दांव पर लग सकती है।”

मार्च के प्रारम्भ में इजरायल और हमास के बीच युद्धविराम का पहला चरण समाप्त हो गया था, क्योंकि दोनों पक्ष भविष्य के लिए ठोस रोडमैप पर सहमत नहीं हो सके थे। खुलैफी ने कहा, “हम पिछले कुछ दिनों से लगातार दोनों पक्षों को एक साथ लाने और दोनों पक्षों द्वारा समर्थित समझौते को पुनर्जीवित करने के लिए काम कर रहे हैं।”उन्होंने कहा, “कठिनाइयों के बावजूद हम इसके प्रति प्रतिबद्ध रहेंगे।”

एएफपी के अनुसार अल-खुलैफी ने कहा, “हमारे शामिल होने के शुरुआती समय से ही हमें इस प्रकार की आलोचना और नकारात्मक टिप्पणियां मिल रही हैं।” उन्होंने कहा, “बिना किसी संदर्भ के आलोचनाएं, जैसे कि हम स्वयं नेतन्याहू से सुनते रहते हैं, अक्सर केवल शोर होती हैं।” उन्होंने नेतन्याहू के इस दावे को भी खारिज कर दिया कि कतर ने अमेरिकी कॉलेज परिसरों में “अमेरिका-विरोध” और “यहूदी-विरोध” को बढ़ावा दिया है। उन्होंने कहा, “कतर की शैक्षिक भागीदारी के बारे में उनके दावे बार-बार गलत साबित हुए हैं। हम जो कुछ भी करते हैं वह पारदर्शी होता है।”

इजराइल-हमास युद्धविराम 

कतर ने संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका और मिस्र के साथ मिलकर गाजा में इजरायल और हमास के बीच युद्ध विराम के पहले चरण की मध्यस्थता की थी, जो क्षेत्र में एक वर्ष से अधिक समय तक चले युद्ध के बाद 19 जनवरी को लागू हुआ।तब से हमास इस बात पर जोर दे रहा है कि सच्चाई जानने के लिए दूसरे चरण की वार्ता की जाए तथा स्थायी युद्धविराम की मांग की जाए, जैसा कि जनवरी में हुए समझौते में कहा गया था।

तभी रिहा करेंगे

हमास ने 45 दिन के युद्ध विराम के नवीनतम इजरायली प्रस्ताव को भी अस्वीकार कर दिया, जिसके तहत आतंकवादी समूह को 10 जीवित बंधकों को रिहा करना होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि वे शेष बंधकों को तभी रिहा करेंगे जब इजराइल स्थायी युद्धविराम पर सहमत हो जाएगा। दूसरी ओर, इजरायल ने गाजा पट्टी पर हवाई और जमीनी हमले पुनः शुरू कर दिए हैं तथा इससे पहले उसने इस क्षेत्र में सहायता का प्रवेश भी रोक दिया था।
