600 रुपये की किताबों की जगह 8-10 हजार की किताबें थोपने का आरोप, डीएम से मिले अभिभावक
सुल्तानपुर (ब्यूरो)। निजी स्कूलों द्वारा एनसीआरटी की किताबें न लगाए जाने के विरोध में शुक्रवार को दर्जन भर अभिभावकों ने जिलाधिकारी से मुलाकात की। अभिभावकों ने स्कूलों पर हर साल नई किताबें थोपने का आरोप लगाया है। अभिभावकों का कहना है कि सरकार ने नई शिक्षा नीति के तहत सभी स्कूलों में एनसीआरटी की किताबें लागू करने का आदेश दिया है। एनसीआरटी की सभी किताबें 600 से 1000 रुपये में उपलब्ध हैं।
लेकिन निजी स्कूल 8 से 10 हजार रुपये की किताबें खरीदने पर जोर दे रहे हैं।सरकार ने नि:शुल्क शिक्षा और स्वास्थ्य के लिए जागरूकता अभियान चलाया है। सरकारी प्राथमिक स्कूलों में मुफ्त किताबें, ड्रेस, भोजन और बैग दिए जाते हैं। भदैया सहित जिले के कई निजी स्कूलों में सरकारी आदेशों की अवहेलना की जा रही है।
कुछ स्कूलों में सिर्फ एक-दो किताबें ही एनसीआरटी की हैं, बाकी सब निजी प्रकाशनों की महंगी किताबें हैं।अभिभावकों ने एसडीएम विदुषी सिंह को पत्र सौंपकर कार्रवाई की मांग की है। उनका कहना है कि निजी स्कूलों की यह मनमानी अभिभावकों पर अतिरिक्त आर्थिक बोझ डाल रही है। इससे अभिभावकों में भारी रोष है।
