हाल ही में सोशल मीडिया पर एक तस्वीर इतनी तेजी से वायरल हुई कि देखते ही देखते यह इंटरनेट की सबसे चर्चित फोटो बन गई। इस तस्वीर में एक भारतीय युवक साधारण कपड़ों में मेट्रो की सीट पर बैठा दिखाई देता है और उसके ठीक बगल में बैठी होती हैं दुनिया भर में प्रसिद्ध Game of Thrones की अभिनेत्री Maisie Williams। जैसे ही यह तस्वीर सामने आई, लोगों ने इसे “बिहार बॉय इन जर्मनी” का नाम दे दिया और इस पर कहानियों का सिलसिला शुरू हो गया। किसी ने इसे प्रेरणादायक बताया, किसी ने इसे किस्मत बदलने वाला चमत्कार कहा और कई लोगों ने भावुक होकर लिखा कि एक गरीब भारतीय की जिंदगी अचानक बदल गई।
सोशल मीडिया पर फैलने वाली कहानी बेहद दिलचस्प और फिल्मी अंदाज में लिखी जा रही थी। दावा किया जा रहा था कि यह लड़का बिहार का है, जो जर्मनी में बिना किसी वैध दस्तावेज़ के अवैध रूप से रह रहा था। कहा गया कि वह न कहीं नौकरी करता था, न उसके पास रहने की कोई कानूनी अनुमति थी। रोज़मर्रा की जिंदगी चलाने के लिए वह बिना टिकट मेट्रो में सफर करता था और किसी तरह जीवन गुजार रहा था। लोगों ने यह भी लिखा कि वह अक्सर ठंड में बिना जैकेट के मेट्रो में बैठ जाता था क्योंकि उसके पास पैसे नहीं थे।
इसी कहानी के अनुसार, एक दिन वह मेट्रो में बैठा था और संयोग से उसके बगल में हॉलीवुड की जानी-मानी अभिनेत्री Maisie Williams आ बैठीं। किसी यात्री ने दूर से यह तस्वीर क्लिक की और सोशल मीडिया पर डाल दी। दावा हुआ कि यह फोटो वायरल होते ही जर्मनी की एक प्रतिष्ठित मैगज़ीन ने इस युवक की कहानी में दिलचस्पी दिखाई और उसे खोज निकाला। कहा गया कि उसे तुरंत नौकरी की पेशकश मिली, 800 यूरो प्रति माह का वेतन तय हुआ और उसे जर्मनी में रहने का आधिकारिक रेज़िडेंस परमिट भी मिल गया। यह कहानी इतनी तेजी से फैली कि हजारों लोग इसे “सच्ची प्रेरक घटना” कहकर शेयर करने लगे।
लेकिन जब इस दावे की गहराई से जांच की गई, तो असलियत पूरी तरह अलग निकली। सबसे पहला तथ्य यह सामने आया कि यह फोटो जर्मनी की नहीं, बल्कि ब्रिटेन की मेट्रो यानी लंदन अंडरग्राउंड की प्रतीत होती है। इसका कारण यह है कि तस्वीर में दिख रही सीटें, रंग और ट्रेन का डिजाइन जर्मनी की मेट्रो जैसा बिल्कुल नहीं है। दूसरा बड़ा तथ्य यह सामने आया कि यह फोटो कोई नई तस्वीर नहीं है। यह तस्वीर 2019 में भी इंटरनेट पर दिखाई दे चुकी है, यानी यह बिल्कुल भी 2025 की घटना नहीं है।
फैक्ट-चेकर्स ने जब सोशल मीडिया पर किए गए बड़े दावों की जांच शुरू की, तो पता चला कि जिस जर्मन मैगज़ीन का नाम लिया जा रहा है—जैसे Der Spiegel—उसने ऐसी किसी घटना पर कोई लेख, रिपोर्ट या टिप्पणी प्रकाशित नहीं की है। किसी भी आधिकारिक रिकॉर्ड, मीडिया रिपोर्ट या समाचार पोर्टल पर इस युवक को नौकरी मिलने, उसकी पहचान होने या उसे रेज़िडेंस परमिट मिलने का कोई सबूत नहीं मिला। इस कहानी का कोई हिस्सा किसी विश्वसनीय स्रोत द्वारा पुष्ट नहीं किया गया।
