लखनऊ। नीलकंठ महादेव मंदिर में गोरखपुर निवासी मुस्लिम युवक ने सनातन धर्म स्वीकार किया। मंदिर में आचार्य कुलदीप शुक्ला ने वैदिक विधि-विधान से पूजा-पाठ कर करीम का नाम बदलकर अमन शाह रखा। करीम ने स्वयं को ‘हिन्दू अमन शाह के रूप में स्वीकार करते हुए अपने नए जीवन की शुरुआत की। इस दौरान उसने गंगा जल से स्नान किया और गोमूत्र भी पिया।
यह घर वापसी कार्यक्रम राष्ट्रीय युवा वाहिनी के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष हिन्दू देव प्रकाश शुक्ला के नेतृत्व में हवन, पूजन और पाठ सम्पूर्ण सनातन परंपराओं के अनुसार सम्पन्न किया गया। वैदिक मंत्रोच्चार के साथ धर्म संस्कार की प्रक्रिया पूरी की गई। अमन ने मीडिया से बात करते हुए कहा- सनातन धर्म संसार का सबसे प्राचीन और सहिष्णु धर्म है। इसमें व्यक्ति को पूरी स्वतंत्रता और सम्मान मिलता है। मैंने यह निर्णय अपनी पूरी इच्छा और समझ से लिया है, मुझ पर किसी प्रकार का कोई दबाव नहीं है। कार्यक्रम के दौरान कई विशिष्ट अतिथि भी उपस्थित रहे, जिनमें हरिनारायण मिश्रा (अध्यक्ष, लीगल सेल), राहुल तिवारी (एवीएन अधिवक्ता), विशाल कुमार (वरिष्ठ उपाध्यक्ष, राष्ट्रीय युवा वाहिनी) प्रमुख रूप से शामिल थे।
