लखनऊ। सआदतगंज के वार्ड नंबर 24 शेखपुर हबीबपुर स्थित इरम डिग्री कॉलेज के सामने बने खुले नाले पर नगर निगम की लापरवाही से हादसे थमने का नाम ही नहीं ले रही।
गैस सिलेंडर सप्लाईमैन के नाले में गिरने वाली घटना को 15 दिन भी नहीं पूरे हुए हैं कि आज के ही दिन दो नए हादसे फिर से घटित हो गए । चेतावनी के बावजूद नगर निगम ने अब तक स्थायी समाधान नहीं किया।

पैदल चल रहा युवक युवक और स्कूटी सवार फिसल कर नाले में गिरे सोमवार को इसी नाले के पास एक ही दिन में दो घटनाएं घटित हो गई । एक तो पैदल चल रहा युवक किनारे से नाला पार करने की कोशिश में फिसलकर नाले में जा गिरा और दूसरा युवक स्कूटी समेत फिसल कर नाले में जा गिरा। गनीमत रही कि दोबारा इस तरह का बड़ा हादसा होने के बावजूद कोई बड़ी जनहानि नहीं हुई और राहगीर बाल-बाल बच गए। अगर इसी तरह हादसे होते रहे तो किसी न किसी दिन किसी की जान भी जा सकती है
स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि रोजाना औपचारिक सफाई दिखाने के बावजूद नाले कीचड़, मलबे और गंदे पानी से पूरी तरह साफ नहीं हो पा रहा, जिससे सड़क पर फिसलन बनी रहती है और हर समय दुर्घटना का खतरा मंडराता रहता है । नगर निगम है की आंख मूंदे बैठा हुआ है। लगता है नगर निगम किसी की जान जाने के इंतजार कर रहा है।

निवासियों का आरोप है कि नगर निगम सिर्फ कागज़ों में सफाई दिखा रहा है नाले को ढकने, किनारों की मरम्मत करने और चेतावनी बोर्ड लगाने जैसे ठोस उपाय नहीं किए गए। लोगों ने मांग की है कि जिम्मेदार अधिकारियों पर कार्रवाई कर नाले का तुरंत ढंकीकरण कराया जाए, वरना वे सामूहिक प्रदर्शन के लिए मजबूर होंगे।
