भाजपा ने अपने सदस्यों को बुधवार को दोपहर 12 बजे चर्चा के लिए लोकसभा में उपस्थित रहने के लिए व्हिप जारी किया है। जदयू ने भी अपने सदस्यों को सदन में उपस्थित रहने के लिए व्हिप जारी किया है और स्पष्ट किया है कि वह इस विधेयक का समर्थन करता है, जो वक्फ संपत्तियों के नियमन के तरीके में व्यापक बदलाव लाने का प्रयास करता है। टीडीपी ने भी व्हिप जारी कर कहा है कि वह विधेयक का समर्थन करता है।
लोकसभा में विधेयक पारित होने के लिए भाजपा को 272 मतों के साधारण बहुमत की आवश्यकता है। 542 सांसदों में से 240 भाजपा के हैं, 12 जेडी(यू) के हैं, 16 टीडीपी के हैं, पांच एलजेपी के हैं, दो राष्ट्रीय लोक दल (आरएलडी) के हैं और सात शिवसेना के हैं। अगर एनडीए साथ देता है तो बिल पास हो जाएगा।
